Classification: Full Time

Compensation: $110,000 to $140,000 per year

The Global Marketing Communications Manager will lead the global marketing efforts to deliver overall planning, alignment, management and measurement of the annual brand marketing plans across all customer segments. The Manager will play a strategic marketing leadership role for the consumer business and drive the gathering of consumer and competitive insight to ensure the consistency of marketing initiatives through thoughtful, "big-picture" strategies.

Responsibilities Include:
Develop and implement brand marketing communication strategies that drive world-wide sales volume and profit growth as well as build consumer reach and awareness
Provide global business unit leaders counsel in developing brand strategy and understanding current marketing and business issues that drive brand communications in four major markets world geographic markets.
Lead the development of annual and quarterly budgets and manage these in partnership with Finance
Drive the creation of a favorable brand image through advertising, trade show/events, direct mail, collateral development, trade media relations, electronic media and promotions
Develop and execute e-marketing strategies to support of global business objectives
Work closely with regional marketing teams in each market to create an annual plan and ensure that all integrated marketing projects are completed in a timely manner, on budget and support the brand positioning
Represent the marketing voice at key internal and external meetings
Develop strong partnerships with external advertising, merchandising, and interactive agencies to integrate ideas and to ensure that the team's creative needs are being met
Provide leadership and direction in an effort to promote the growing retail organization and target appropriate new markets for a broader consumer reach.
Provide and track competitive brand activities to ensure strong external context for the consumer brand portfolio
Contribute to the development of the Consumer division strategy by having a strong creative point-of-view and aesthetic for the consumer brands
Manage a team of associates with a wide range of skills from web development to public relations
Develop talent of direct reports and ensure that the team is clear on performance goals and receives timely feedback on performance
Must have a strong retail background. Ideal candidate will have superior strategic planning, leadership, communication and presentation skills
Track-record of success in developing and executing integrated marketing plans that leverage all elements of the marketing mix. Possesses a consumer-centric focus with know-how to leverage the power of consumer insight to develop the most effective strategies and campaigns to drive the business
An innovator who has broad based capabilities and experience in development of a clear differentiated brand positioning that will ensure the growth of brand awareness, equity and standing as a global brand
A thought leader for potential marketing/branding strategies including idea generation, partnerships, sponsorships and strategic alliances.
